Our Owner,
Heather Cosgrove, CPA

Heather Cosgrove is a North Carolina native who has proudly called the Triad home since 2008. In July 2025, she purchased Triad Tax Service from retiring EA Alice Linville. With a slight name change and a fresh chapter, Heather continues the founder’s vision of creating a client-focused environment, always putting the needs and best interests of clients first.

With a career built primarily in public accounting, Heather specializes in compliance and advisory services for individuals, trusts, and small businesses across the Triad. She is passionate about guiding individuals and families through financial transitions and helping them navigate change with confidence.

Heather grew up in Laurinburg, NC, and attended UNC-Chapel Hill, earning both her B.S. in Business Administration (2007) and her Master of Accounting (2008) from the Kenan-Flagler Business School. She became a licensed CPA in North Carolina in 2009.

Outside the office, Heather enjoys traveling, reading, puzzles, and relaxing with her husband, two daughters, and their pets. Her family loves volunteering, from Girl Scout activities and school events to fostering pets through Red Dog Farm. Heather is also an active member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Another passion of Heather’s is advocating for awareness and acceptance of neurodivergence in the workplace. Living with ADHD herself, she believes that open conversations about neurodiversity can break down stigma, encourage inclusivity, and create healthier, more supportive work environments. She is launching a blog and podcast—The Unpolished Professional—to share resources, tips, and community with professionals navigating similar experiences.
